1.Performance – Since rechargeable batteries can be recharged many times over, the cumulative total service life exceeds that of primary batteries by a wide margin. These batteries use 1.2 volts of energy over the entire time. Disposable batteries start at 1.5 volts and progressively get lower until they die. By using rechargeable batteries, you are getting peak performance at all times even when the low battery signal comes.
2.Savings – Recharging rechargeable batteries many hundred times is giving the consumer tremendous savings in the long run. Although the initial cost of rechargeable batteries may make you feel like making the transformation is not need but think about in the long-term sense. Rechargeable batteries are capable of using more than 500 times. It seems worth it now.
3.Environmentally friendly – Since the cumulative service is so much longer than primary batteries, only a fraction of the solid waste is generated and a solid waste reduction of 90% and more is possible. If the battery contains no toxins, such as rechargeable alkalines, they can be even disposed of in regular landfills. Other rechargeables, which do contain toxins such as NiMH should be recycled. Most stores nowadays do take old rechargeables back.
